Spring Biking Safety
Written by Welcome on March 29, 2018
It’s springtime here in Minnesota! That means spring break trips and folks getting out on their motorcycles and bicycles. It is a great time to be reminded of bicycle and motorcycle safety for motorists. I was talking with one of my coworkers who is big into his motorcycle. He said that he has had several close calls from motorists who didn’t see him. His tip when traveling on a motorcycle is to drive defensively, not assume cars can see you, make noise with your tailpipe, and make sure you’re visible in motorists mirrors. When driving your car this spring be sure to be aware that motorcyclists and bicyclists are on the road. Be sure to take extra caution when changing lanes. Have fun and be safe out there!
