Latuff Brothers Auto Body Earns 2019 Angie’s List Super Service Award


Saint Paul, MN. January 1st, 2020 – Latuff Brothers Auto Body is proud to announce that it has earned the home service industry’s coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award (SSA). This award honors service professionals who have maintained exceptional service ratings and reviews on Angie’s List in 2019.

Service company ratings are updated continually on Angie’s List as new, verified consumer reviews are submitted. Companies are graded on an A through F scale in multiple fields ranging from price to professionalism to punctuality.

Latuff Brothers Auto Body earns 2017 Angie’s List Super Service Award!

INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Angie’s List®, a leading online review platform, has named this year’s winners of the coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award. The Super Service Award honors service professionals who have maintained exceptional service ratings and reviews on Angie’s List in 2017. This year’s list of winners also contains many multi-year recipients. Almost 20 percent of the recipients have won the award five years or more, 3 percent have won the award 10 years or more, and nearly 300 pros have won the Super Service Award 15 years or more. Angie’s List began notifying recipients of this recognition this month.

2017 Super Service Award winners must meet strict eligibility requirements, which include maintaining an “A” rating in overall grade, recent grade and review period grade. The SSA winners must be in good standing with Angie’s List, pass a background check, submit a current trade license attestation and abide by Angie’s List operational guidelines.

“This award not only honors providers who have excelled in the past year, but also makes it easier for consumers to identify high quality service providers,” said Angie’s List Founder Angie Hicks. “The Super Service Award logo has come to be a symbol that consumers look for as a sign of quality, and a tradition for many top-rated service pros.”

Companies are graded on an A through F scale in multiple fields ranging from price to professionalism to punctuality. Service company ratings are updated continually on Angie’s List as new, verified consumer reviews are submitted.

Service professionals who have earned and accepted the award will have distinctive badges displayed on their company profiles identifying them as 2017 SSA winners. Companies must earn this award each year based on the prior year’s performance and will have the 2017 SSA badges on display until January 1, 2019.

The 2017 Super Service Award covers performance from November 1, 2016 to October 31, 2017.

Excellence in Material Management Award

 

Awards were announced for Auto Body Repair shops who achieved Excellence in Material Management.  One shop was chosen from each of the Mike Anderson Axalta Business Council Groups.  Shops must meet high industry standards in order to be considered for these awards, including meeting or exceeding all environmental regulations, minimizing waste and using quality warranted paint materials. Shops are compared with six separate metrics that include measurements demonstrating the minimization of waste and environmental impact, cost control as measured in per RO and per refinish labor unit, and producing quality repairs.  Their cumulative ranking in six KPIs determined their rank within their peer group.

These shops were chosen out of thegroups who
1) Agreed to have their KPIs compared with in their respective group
2) Had their purchases submitted independently
3) Supplied several key sales inputs needed to complete the calculations
4) Lean Material Management Reports compared for at least one year.

Award reflects company’s consistently high level of customer service

Latuff Brothers Auto Body has earned the home service industry’s coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award, reflecting an exemplary year of customer service to members of the local services marketplace and consumer review site in 2016.

This achievement is particularly significant as Angie’s List experienced unprecedented member growth in 2016. More than 1.6 million consumers, many of whom were eager to quickly hire highly qualified service pros, joined Angie’s List after the company added a new, free membership tier.

“Companies that can meet higher demands without missing a beat in their exemplary performance standards truly do stand apart from their peers,” said Angie’s List Founder Angie Hicks. “Only a fraction of the auto body repair companies in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area were able to do it.”

For more than 21 years, Angie’s List restricted access to its verified reviews to consumers who paid membership fees. When the company removed that barrier, some companies worried that the new, non-paying members would not be as engaged as members of the past. Experience has shown, however, that these newly added members are just as engaged – across all age groups – as prior members. Also, because the company continues to adhere to its review verification process, there has been no degradation of review quality.

Latuff Brothers is proud to recognize employee Jamison Randall as Midway Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year!

Jamison Randall received the volunteer of the year award, sponsored by Davis Communications and Zipko Strategy.  He is the consummate volunteer for the Midway Chamber of Commerce and is actively involved with Chamber activities. If it is happening at the Chamber Jamison is there! He is engaged as a Board member, Co-Chair of the Ambassador Committee and has been a major contributor to the success of our Lunch on the Line program. He’s in the know and able to help connect businesses to other businesses to help them grow.  Jamison is a wonderful ambassador for the Midway Chamber of Commerce.

In December of 2014, Latuff Brothers became a certified Ford auto body repair facility.  We have made investments in training and technology to be recognized by Ford to properly repair their customer’s vehicles back to manufacturer specifications.

Latuff Brothers is named a 2013 Minnesota Business Ethics Award Finalist!

Minnesota business and professional leaders came together Wednesday, May 15, at the Nicollet Island Pavilion to honor finalists and recipients for the 14th annual Minnesota Business Ethics Award (MBEA).  The awards celebrate Minnesota businesses that exemplify and promote ethical conduct in the workplace, the marketplace and the community. Keynote speaker for the awards lunch was Gregg Steinhafel, chairman and CEO of Target Corporation.  The MBEA presents awards in in three size categories: small (under 100 employees), medium (100 to 500 employees) and large (more than 500 employees).

The 2013 award finalists are:

  • Small-size category: Cresa Minneapolis/St. Paul;  Douglas Scientific; and  Latuff Brothers Auto Body
  • Mid-size category: Affinity Federal Credit Union;  Mintahoe Catering and Events; and  Premier Disability Services LLC

Since its inception in 1999, the MBEA has recognized 38 Minnesota-based businesses, ranging in size from less than 10 employees to more than 150,000.

The program is organized by the Twin Cities Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and the Center for Ethical Business Cultures (CEBC) at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business. This year the MBEA welcomes the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors as a co-organizer for the awards.
